Reading |
Spend 20 minutes reading independently. You can choose to read your own book, a school book, a bug club book, magazine, newspaper or comic. Pick something you will enjoy and spend the time reading for pleasure. |
Grammar Task |
Login to purple mash. In your ‘2 Do’ list you have been allocated an activity to complete using your knowledge of present perfect tense. It is called ‘The dog and the ball’ |
Maths Task |
Have a look at the lesson notes to find out the skills you need to use to complete the pages in the workbook. You are looking at finding the perimeter of shapes. Look carefully at the size of each square…they might be more than 1cm Complete page 193 and 194 in your Maths No Problem workbook. You will need to use a ruler to measure the shapes on page 193. If you don’t have a ruler then miss this page out. (Please only complete the pages we are giving you as we will be using the books for other lessons when we return to school). Once you have finished you can use the answers to check if you are correct. |
Writing Task |
Using the treasure map you created on Wednesday, write a set of instructions for a pirate to find your treasure. There is more information about the task in the ‘files to download’ Please can you ask an adult to take a photo of your treasure map and instructions and email it to your teachers as we would love to see them. |
Creative Task |
DT Challenge: Can you use the recycling (paper card, plastic bottles etc) to create a marble run? If you don’t have any marbles you could use a different ball but you will need to make sure the ball can fit down the channels and through any holes! Perhaps you could do this with your family. |
