Teaching Assistant with SEN

The Headteacher and Governors of Ivy Bank Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to be part of our dedicated team, based in our Resource Provision.

1 x 30-hour position (9am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)

We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant who will go above and beyond and is committed to ensuring every child does their very best. The successful candidate will be proactive, committed and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Candidates are asked to supply the details of two referees, one of whom must be the current or most recent employer. Any discrepancies or anomalies in the information provided, or issues arising from references will be taken up at interview. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake an enhanced clearance by the DBS.

This position is required from November 2019 and is a temporary contract until July 2020, in the first instance.

As part of the interview process there will be a short task, further details will be given in the invite to interview.

Salary: Grade 4, Pro-rata (FTE: £18,426-£19,171). 38 weeks/year.
