Phonics Screen Check

The Phonics Screening Check is a statutory assessment for Year 1 pupils in England which is administered by the class teacher in June. It is designed to see how well children are learning to read using phonics. Children will read 40 real or ‘alien’ words. For more information, please see the attached documents.
