Coronavirus Support

It can be difficult talking to our children about the Coronavirus pandemic, especially when we may feel vulnerable ourselves.

Please use these ideas and links to support these conversations; resources are downloadable below.  There is also a page on Coronavirus and Bereavement here.

  • Beating the Virus - a short wordless story, that will help people to understand what to do if you have Coronavirus and how to keep yourself and those who you care about safe. The story also shows how to safely help others who may be self-isolating.

  • Having a Test for Coronavirus (shows home testing and drive through testing) - a wordless story about getting tested for coronavirus. The story shows how testing works at a drive through centre and using a self-test kit at home.

  • Axel Scheffler has illustrated a digital book for primary school age children about the coronavirus and the measures taken to control it.

  • ELSA story book about Coronavirus

  • Coronavirus workbook
