Remote Learning
If the school is closed, we will be conducting a live lesson at 9.30am. You will be sent a TEAMS link via email to join this. We will be completing a lesson for English and the sheet that needs completing has already been sent home with your child on Thursday. Look out for a sheet with a speech bubble on it - that is what we will be completing at the end of the live lesson - it also a file on this page if you wanted to print out a fresh one at home.
For Phonics, please watch the video by clicking on the link below and help your child to learn a new sound. Remember it is a digraph (2 letters that make one sound).
For Maths, there is no set work, but please spend some time playing a dice game with your child asking them to tell you what number they have thrown each time. Perhaps they are already really good at recognising their dot-dice patterns, in which case, ask them how many more (or less) it would be to make 5. e.g. if they throw a 3, they would need 2 more to make 5. If they throw a 6, then would need to take one away. etc.
