Easter Holidays -FS2

Date: 3rd Apr 2020 @ 9:51pm

EASTER HOLIDAYS

There will not be any work set for the next two weeks, as this is officially the Easter holidays.

The links to everything that we have set over the last two weeks will still be there for you to click on.  Try and have a go at writing something every day, reading something every day and counting something every day.

Don’t forget to make an Easter card for your mums and dads.

Have an Easter hunt?

Think about the real meaning of Easter – if we have been in school, we would have been watching the Easter Story as part of our RE.  Why not have a watch of it?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PSgoPdKQFQ

Bake some shredded wheat chocolate cakes or chocolate krispie cakes and then make baskets for them just like we did for Mother’s Day. There’s a link to a different style of basket here https://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/au-t-563-australia---easter-basket-template

Have a go at making a pop-up Easter chick, we used drinking straws instead of dowling to make ours.

Make an Easter picture by drawing a chick - follow the instructions here.

Log in to Espresso and complete the Easter themed activities here.

Next half term we will be looking at the story of the Naughty Bus.  If we were in school, we would have the Naughty Bus getting up to lots of cheeky antics.  If you would like to purchase one from Amazon before the official start of the new term, then please feel free.  It is just a red London bus.

This is the cheapest I have found on Amazon, but it can be whatever you like.

Also, if you didn't want to get one then you could adapt the story we are going to tell using another toy of your choice.
