• Login to your bug club account. Read one of the books you have been allocated and answer the bug questions.

• Spend 15 minutes practising your times tables.

SPAG Task

•  Complete the activity on apostrophes in your home learning book. The task is in the ‘files to download’ section. The questions get harder on each page so just try your best. You can use the answers to check your work once you have had a go. 

Maths Task

• Watch the video about time and timetables on Espresso. Then complete the quiz and activity on Espresso (links are under the video)

• Watch the second video about time on digital and analogue clocks. This should be revision of work you have previously done. After watching the video complete the quiz and activity.

Challenge: You have been allocated a game on Purple Mash (check your 2-Do list). This is using your knowledge from yesterday on converting between minutes and seconds. 

Writing Task

• Write a description of a pirate ship in your home learning book. (See a more detailed task description in the ‘files to download’ section)
• Use the key words to help you.
• Remember your sentences need to be Year 3 sentences so try to include: conjunctions, prepositions, adverbs, adjectives, exciting openers and punctuation.
• If you can, use joined up handwriting.
