Young Voices 2021

We registered for Young Voices 2021 as soon as registration opened after the concert back in January! Then with everything going on we were unsure what would happen with Young Voices but they have come up with a plan B!

Plan B

  • Our choir will have a place at the re-scheduled 25th Anniversary Concerts for May/June 2021. They are in talks at the moment to secure potential postponement dates - they'll let us know once they have them.

  • Virtual Concert - we have a special invitation to a virtual concert at the end of January 2021. This concert will be streamed LIVE and our choir will take part in the safety of our school, making this the perfect mini school concert for parents and family. A few select songs from the Music Pack will be chosen and identified for us.

  • YV’s Biggest Sing, to be sung during the virtual concert our children will be part of an attempt to break the record for the largest number of people singing simultaneously to celebrate 25 years of Young Voices, (they are currently in the process of selecting THE song from the short-list of amazing songs) - more details to follow...

  • YV at Home, full access to the online YVatHome experience (only available to registered schools and their choirs as of September 2020).

At the moment it is clear we are unable to practise together as a choir at school - due to mixing up to 8 different classes and at the moment singing is not allowed to take place in groups larger than 15.

Therefore we are giving you access to the Young Voices songs to learn at home. They have made them available on their website much earlier than usual.

https://www.youngvoices.co.uk/music-room  The school's Access code is: YV2021

This will take you to the Dance videos, Lyrics videos, Lyrics, YV at home and a Spotify playlist.

ALL CHILDREN WHO WISH TO, WILL GET A PLACE IN OUR CHOIR BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET A PLACE AT THE YV CONCERT.  It is your choice whether to start practising the songs or you could wait until we receive further updates from YV and the Government.
