Week 5 - Children's Mental Health Week

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself.

‘Place2Be’ is encouraging children (and adults) to explore the different ways we can express ourselves and the creative ways that we can share our feelings, thoughts and ideas.

Looking after your mental health is more important than ever during the Covid pandemic and national lockdown.

At Ivy Bank we are getting involved to help spread the word on how young people can look after their own mental health and how they can get support if they need it. We aim to promote positive mental health for every child, parents/carer and staff. Each year group has provided an activity to recognise this week through Google Classrooms.

If you need any further help or support, we have attached some information from Visyon, a local health charity who support children and young people by providing a range of services. Here is a video to explain more on how they can help

We also have information on the ‘Wellbeing’ part of the Ivy Bank School website with helplines and links  https://www.ivybank.cheshire.sch.uk/page/support-through-coronavirus/64857

Look after each other and stay safe.
