SCHOOL CLOSURE - Weekly Timetable for WB 6th July

Below is a weekly timetable of activites for your child to complete. Everyday the children can complete:

  • Maths
  • Literacy
  • TT Rockstars
  • Read a book on Bug Club

There are also activities for science, geography/history, SPAG (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) If you have any questions or queries about the work, please email us!

Maths - Geometry continued.

This week we are carrying on with our Geometry topic on shape. As with last week, it is very important that you learn and remember the correct language for describing and recognising key features and properties of shape. Try and test yourself as you go along!


Monday (lesson 6) :To describe the properties of diagonals of quadrilaterals

R.E:  Buddhism- Sacred Text 

In this lesson we will be learning about the teachings of Buddha and the book in which these were recorded, the Tipitaka. We will learn about the three sections of the Tipitaka and we consider the importance of what Buddhists describe as Nirvana.




Science- Drawing Electric circuits: 

In this lesson,  you will looking at lesson 3 of Electricity (Circuit Diagrams) https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/what-are-circuit-diagrams  Then complete drawing electric circuits 1 and 2


We have skipped out lesson 2 as it stuff that you did in Year 4, but here is lesson 2 if you need it
